Pole Dancing News & Events
Since there has been popular demand for this, I have created a whole new class. It will be specifically for course students only, to drop in and practice for up to 1.5 hours. It is ideal for students wishing to continue with their new skill for regular fitness and strength training, ready for the next level - or just to practice what they have been learning over their course. The Drop In will cost just £5 and you can practice for up to 1.5 hours.
Students who have not at least passed the Bronze level will not be allowed to practice. This is because I will not be there in an instructor capacity, or be able to operate tight supervision. However, I will be there to welcome you and get you started as usual. The £5 you pay is for you to 'hire' the poles as a practice session for up to 2 hours a time, to keep you in good shape and good training.
The Drop-In will be held every other Saturday, from 5:50pm til 7pm @ The Ocean Gym, Queensferry - from Saturday 24th May onwards. You do not need to book it or pay in advance - just turn up. BUT I would really appreciate a quick text from you to let me know if you will be coming in.

Candy & Chrome is pleased to announce the launch of its new website: http://www.candy-chrome.co.uk/. The new website takes advantage of the latest web development tools to create a dynamic new appearance that provides online visitors quick and efficient access to up-to-date company information.
From the home page, key information features in the slick navigation system which ensures that each page can be quickly accessed via a single mouse click. "Our students know what they are looking for, and we want to make it as easy as possible for them to find the information that they need," said 'Tiny', Chief Instructor for Candy & Chrome.
The site was designed by local multi-skilled IT company Mackintosh Consultants whose Managing Partner, Dr Nigel Mackintosh, noted: "We were extremely honoured to be selected by Candy & Chrome to design and develop their high-profile new online presence. We of course ensured that the site complied with all relevant website standards, including XHTML and CSS. However, unlike many website design companies who leave their clients exposed to potential legal action, our corporate policy fully recognises the requirements of the UK Disability Discrimination Act 1995, and we thus ensured that the site complied with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines in order not to discriminate against disabled people, including blind and partially sighted people, deaf and hearing impaired people, people with conditions that have resulted in limited use of their arms and people with cognitive disabilities".

Back in November, I had the pleasure of instructing a lovely bunch of ladies from the Flintshire Chronicle. They were hot on the pole, looked fab and I had a great time teaching them.
Keep an eye out over the coming weeks for a review in the paper!
