Hi, I’m Amy. Owner and principal instructor at Candy & Chrome and have been actually teaching pole dance for over 5 years now (not just dancing).
When you learn at Candy & Chrome, at the end of your Beginner’s course, we don’t want you to just be able to do a few spins, we want to you be a MASTER of the basics AND be strong enough and prepared enough to start your upside down learning with ease, not struggling along. So our pole courses are 8 weeks long.
To get very good at pole dance, you need to have well paced lessons, where the tricks get gradually harder, but are completely manageable for the ‘normal’ person! We are highly experienced at this and have been doing it for years so we know what works, and what doesn’t. Our classes are kept fresh, up-to-date and comprehensive.
Our Bronze Level would suit complete beginners with no prior strength or pole training. 1 Hour a week, 8 weeks length. This is EXACTLY what you will learn with me….
In the first 4 weeks you will learn: Spins, Poses, Transitions, Floor work, Climbing, Strength Training Exercises, and pole ‘conditioning’ exercises.
By weeks 4/5 is where you start to get noticeably stronger, and see subtle muscle tone changes. So we up the anti….
In the next 4 weeks you will learn: More dificult spins, sitting/standing hands free on the pole, basic invert (upside down), seated tricks, transitions, floor work, strength training and pole conditioning exercises.
Naturally, all classes start with a basic warm up routine and stretches, and end with cooling down stretches.
Group classes are small, only 9 per class, and as our classes are very popular, places go to the first people to pay for them. You can do that using the buttons below:
Pay for 1 place in full (Cheaper option! £100):

Bring a friend and get £20 off EACH!
Pay only £80 for the course, that’s just £10 per lesson!
Pay for 2 places at the discounted rate (£160):

Suitable for Beginner-Intermediate level students as more upper body strength and pole confidence is required. 1 Hour a week, 8 weeks length.

This is just a one-off lesson and would suit anyone who is just curious and not quite ready to commit to a full course. It will give you a good idea about what is involved and what pole dancing is all about!
We offer FREE taster days, dates to be confirmed. To keep informed about when we will hold our next free open day event, please join our mailing list by CLICKING HERE.
These classes are just for existing students only, to use as practise time so you may build on what you have learnt. This is the only lesson you DON’T need to pay for in advance, just show up and pay on the day!
